The night before my operation, I took a sleeping tablet so I would get some rest. It turned out to be one of the best nights sleep I have had for a long tme. I got out of bed later than expected but that was ideal, less time to worry!
I was admitted to hospital at 11:30am
It turned out that I was first on the operating theatre list and so would be taken down to the theatre at 2:00pm. Again this was ideal.
The time before the operation was taken up with consent forms and other paperwork
All marked up and ready to go.
