{"id":283,"date":"2018-06-12T16:54:25","date_gmt":"2018-06-12T16:54:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lp21.uk\/?page_id=283"},"modified":"2018-10-29T19:53:56","modified_gmt":"2018-10-29T19:53:56","slug":"aka-day-4","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/lp21.uk\/?page_id=283","title":{"rendered":"AKA Day 4"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 class=\"Normal\"><strong><span class=\"C-3\">2nd November 2015 &#8211; Day 4<\/span><\/strong><\/h1>\n<p class=\"Normal\"><span class=\"C-3\">Chased the wheelchair service again today, unfortunately the person \u00a0needed to speak to was off.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Normal\"><span class=\"C-3\">My surgeon came in today and looked at the wound, he was very \u00a0happy with the way it looked and has said that I should be able to go home soon, however this was on the understanding that the wheelchair had been modified before I leave.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Normal\"><span class=\"C-3\">With help from the Physio, I got out of bed today and did a small walk on crutches. It felt great to be up and about eventhough it was extremely hard work. Probably did about 8-<wbr \/>10 steps, turned around and then the same back to the bed. I was knackered.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Normal\"><span class=\"C-3\">Still that was a small bit of progress..<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Normal\"><span class=\"C-3\">I am more than happy that the correct decision was made to have this leg removed.
